This policy explains the cookies and related browser storage used by the Cupid website and application.
Essential cookies
The application uses cookies required to provide authenticated access and retain interface preferences. These may include:
- session and security cookies used by the authentication system;
- a cookie used to share an authenticated session across Cupid subdomains when that feature is configured; and
- interface preference cookies, such as sidebar state.
Blocking these cookies may prevent sign-in or affect application preferences.
Website analytics and performance
Cupid includes Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Vercel Web Analytics records page-view information for aggregate reporting without using third-party cookies. Information may include the page or route viewed, referrer, general location, browser, device type and operating system. Vercel Speed Insights collects performance measurements used to assess page loading and responsiveness.
These measurements exclude signed-in pages, private record and certificate links, attendance pages and authentication pages. Query strings are removed before measurement.
PostHog product analytics and all session recording are disabled for the soft launch. Cupid does not record your screen or associate page-view histories with your account.
Where you arrived from
Campaign attribution cookies are disabled for the soft launch. Cupid does not store a cookie to remember the campaign or referring page that brought you here.
Cupid does not use advertising or marketing cookies.
Third-party services
When you use an external service linked to Cupid, that service may set its own cookies under its policy. Examples include Stripe for payment processing and Google or Microsoft when you choose an external sign-in method.
Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the application from working.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website, application or service providers change. The date above identifies the current version.
