Recording activities
Record a CPD activity with its date, points, categories and evidence.
Each completed activity is one record. It holds the activity details, the claim and the supporting evidence.
Add an activity
- Open My CPD.
- Select Record activity.
- Enter the activity details, points and categories.
- Attach evidence now, or add it after saving.
The activity date cannot be in the future. Cupid derives the CPD year from that date.
Activity types
The available types come from the requirement profile. They can include:
- attendance at a seminar or workshop;
- recorded private study;
- legal writing;
- preparing or presenting a session;
- committee participation; and
- postgraduate study.
Delivery mode
The delivery modes offered depend on the activity type and the scheme.
Points and categories
Enter the points claimed and allocate them across the relevant categories. Half a point is the smallest claim, and anything between two half points is rounded down.
Cupid checks the claim against the scheme's category minimums, activity caps and daily ceiling. A warning does not replace the practitioner's judgement or regulator guidance.
Activity status
- Completed: counts towards the practitioner's totals.
- Awaiting approval: recorded for the practitioner by someone without a standing delegation. It does not count until the practitioner approves it.
An unfinished form can be saved as a draft. A draft is not a completed activity and does not count.
Edit or delete an activity
- Open the activity from My CPD.
- Select Edit.
- Change the fields and save.
Changing the date can re-file the activity into another CPD year. Deleting an activity cannot be undone.
