Workspace setup

Workspace details, roles, invitations and the plan.

A workspace holds the organisation's CPD records, members, sessions and settings.

Workspace details

When creating a firm workspace, enter:

  • the display name;
  • the legal entity name and ABN, where applicable; and
  • the initial jurisdiction.

The person who creates the workspace becomes its owner.

Personal and shared workspaces

A personal workspace holds one practitioner's record. A shared workspace holds several practitioners. In either case, a member needs a capability or a delegation from the practitioner to open another person's record.

Roles

Workspace roles control administration:

  • Owner: billing, settings and membership.
  • Admin: delegated workspace administration.
  • Member: standard workspace access.

Access to another practitioner's CPD record is a separate capability. Owners and admins do not receive it automatically. See Firm oversight.

Inviting members

Administrators invite colleagues from Settings > People & access. The invitation email is the standard joining path. An organisation may also allow automatic joining from its verified email domain.

Plans

Cupid has three plans: Starter, Firm and Enterprise. Current prices and capacity limits are on the pricing page. How each plan counts members is in Billing.
